Since its foundation in 1996, SECI facilitated the establishement of many new channels of communication between various stakeholders from South East Europe. The most visible outcomes of this facilitation process is given through the emergence of new regional entities, which represent a product of the work of SECI and its various Project Groups, such as the SECI Affiliates. However,  many new channles of communication were also created through bringing interested parties together and reaching an agreement on common action concerning a topic of regional interest. This section presents a selection of such examples of regional cooperation.
