The work of SECI contributed to the development of the dense network of collaborators of different type which support and participate in the activities and the projects undertaken under the umbrella of SECI in different ways. This network is the result of SECI's continuous efforts to create new channels of communication between the various regional and European actors. Thus, this group, among others, includes:

• Supporting states
• EU Institutions - European Commission
• International Financial Institutions (IFIs)
• Regional Initiatives and institutions
  

In effect, the SECI network comprises many other entities who are in one way or another active within the region, since a set of new channels of communication are being build up on a daily basis and developed within each new SECI project.
